As a Counselling Psychotherapist, I work creatively and therapeutically with individuals and couples, supporting them through a range of mental health challenges. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can speak freely and be truly heard.
Life can present difficult moments, and my role is to help you navigate these times, find clarity, and make sense of your world.
Reaching out for help is often the most courageous step someone can take. It takes strength to open up about the more challenging parts of life, and as a therapist, I’m here to guide you on your path towards a more fulfilling life.

What is Counselling Psychotherapy?
While the terms "counselling" and "psychotherapy" are sometimes used interchangeably, there are distinctions:
-
Counselling typically focuses on more specific issues or challenges, often involving short-term support. It can help individuals navigate situations such as relationship problems, grief, or life transitions, and aims to improve coping skills and emotional well-being.
-
Psychotherapy, on the other hand, is often a deeper, longer-term process. It tends to deal with more complex mental health issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders, and aims to explore underlying emotional and psychological patterns to promote long-lasting change.

Counselling psychotherapy brings both approaches together, helping people address both immediate issues and deeper emotional concerns. It involves the use of various therapeutic techniques, such as talk therapy, creative expression, and emotional exploration, tailored to the client's individual needs. This approach aims to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can process their feelings, gain insight, and work towards personal growth and healing.

As a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I adhere to strict ethical guidelines, ensuring that every client receives professional, compassionate care.
